OFFICIAL IMAGE OF THE KING OF ISRAEL. Recovered from the entrance to Building A, the red, yellow and black fragments of a mural were reconstructed by the late Israeli scholar Pirhiya Beck. The fragments themselves first had to be arranged. Then the image had to be reconstructed. The result was a king seated in a chair, holding a lotus blossom. The face is in profile; the torso, en-face. Behind the king, an acolyte raises his arm.
