MANI, THE APOSTLE OF JESUS CHRIST is the inscription that surrounds this rock crystal Sassanian seal that depicts Mani flanked by two of his Elect. The seal would have been used by the prophet to verify that the documents were from him. None of Mani’s original writings have been preserved, but this seal is housed in the National Library of France.
