Valentin Sama-Rojo

The late Sharon Zuckerman of the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem was a codirector of the Tel Hazor excavations in the early 2000s. She expected the existence at Hazor of a Bronze Age archive but did not live to discover it. Here she is preparing the pithoi from the southwestern hall of Hazor’s palace for a photograph.
