A MENORAH HOMAGE? Built over the southeast corner of the Temple of Peace, the Church of Santi Cosma e Damiano contains this stunning triumphal mosaic arch in the church apse. The seven golden candlesticks flanking the Lamb of God may be a reference to the Temple Menorah or the candles of Revelation 1:12–13, 20; 2:1 and 4:5.
