PHOENICIAN CONSTRUCTION. The Phoenicians had a recognizable building style, which was imitated by people throughout the southern Levant. This Iron Age wall at Dor is a typical Phoenician construction, featuring sections of rectangular ashlar blocks juxtaposed with sections of fieldstones.
