BEAUTIFUL BRACELETS. During the Iron Age, jewelry became more common in jar burials. In the Bronze Age, jar burials were more likely to contain ceramics than jewelry. This Iron Age jar burial from Tell es-Sa‘idiyeh in modern Jordan shows an infant with bronze anklets and bracelets.
