THE LARGE COMPOUND, rendered artistically in this drawing, was uncovered below a thick layer of destruction debris in Area T2. Dating from the Late Bronze Age, the structure holds a gruesome mystery: buried under the destruction layers of stones and ceramic containers were four human skeletons. The drawing captures the approximate location of the four individuals in the moment of their sudden and violent death.
