AGAINST THE GRAIN. An installation for grinding grain into flour appears along the north wall of Room 1 in Tell Halif’s A8 House. The installation consists of a layer of mudbricks covered by fieldstones, on top of which sits a grinding stone; a semicircular wall of fieldstones encircles all of this.
