OUT OF ASHES. In the eighth century B.C.E., Tiglath-pileser III destroyed Hazor. This past summer, archaeologists uncovered part of the destruction level he left behind, including this complete jug, showcased by Bahougne Fanny and Doucet-Samama Elea of the Institut Catholique de Paris.
