MEGARIAN BOWLS. Mold-made bowls from the Anatolian coast, called Megarian Bowls, have surfaced at et-Tell. Dated to the Hellenistic period, these bowls were made in imitation of metal bowls with relief designs. Here, a swan appears on a second-century B.C.E. bowl from et-Tell. This attests to the prosperity of et-Tell during the Hellenistic period.
