GRAVEN IMAGES. From the temple at Tel Moẓa—not 4 miles from Jerusalem—archaeologists found the heads of two clay male figurines, as well as two horse figurines. Dated to the late tenth or early ninth century B.C.E., the figurines have pronounced facial features and wear headdresses. Similar to the Qeiyafa figurine, they may represent Yahweh or another male god.
