ZECHARIAH’S TOMB appears in the vicinity of Jerusalem on the Madaba Map, a mosaic depiction of the Holy Land that covers the floor of a church in Madaba, located in modern Jordan. The mosaic map is dated to the sixth century C.E. and measures about 35 by 15 feet, but, unfortunately, only a third of the original map is preserved. Zechariah may have been venerated at the Church of the Glorious Martyr.
