SEALED UP. A bulla from Wadi Dalia had five threads made of linen attached to its back. This enabled archaeologists to calculate the diameter of the papyrus that this bulla once sealed to be 4 centimeters. In addition, remains of the papyrus imprint and tiny scraps of papyrus are visible. The bulla dates to the fourth century B.C.E. during the Persian period.
