TEL GEZER EXCAVATION PROJECT, S. WOLFF

DEADLY DEVASTATION. The skeletal remains of three people who died in the collapsing patrician house are a gruesome witness to the violent end of Late Bronze Age Gezer. Found under layers of debris, ash, and fallen stones, the remains are those of an adult male, who died under the collapse of the pillared room (shown here), and another adult and child who fell together in the house’s adjoining industrial space.
