A recent reconstruction from scattered fragments of columns 10–17 of the Songs of the Sabbath Sacrifice scroll, found in Cave 4 at Qumran. In collaboration with Prof. Stegemann, and using his innovative methods, Carol Newsom of Emory University’s Candler School of Theology succeeded in identifying some corresponding points of damage, marked by lines and arrows. Together with other clues, such as pieces that were stuck on the backs of others, this enabled her to place the fragments in their proper relation to one another.
