The full Abisha cryptogram runs through five columns of text beginning with the one shown in this photo, on which we have highlighted in white some of the letters of the cryptogram (compare with next photo). This form of cryptogram, known as tashqil, often appears in Samaritan scrolls and typically names the scribe and gives information about the writing of the scroll.
