In a photo by G. Eric Matson (shown here, compare with two previous photos), we see the burning of the sacrificial remains in accordance with the biblical proscription: “You shall let none of it remain until morning; anything that remains until the morning you shall burn” (Exodus 12:10). The hand-held lantern at upper left attests to the darkness of the hour.
