The Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, NY

The young Joseph, crook in hand and adorned in the luxuriant many-colored coat his father Jacob gave him, gazes serenely from an Art Deco stained glass window on display at the American Bible Society in New York. In this window from about 1900, American glassmaker Louis Comfort Tiffany used colored leaded glass for everything but Joseph’s face, hands and feet, which are hand painted.
