shone like the sun, but his garments became white as light 3and his garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller on earth could bleach them. and his clothing (became) dazzling white
3And behold, appeared to them Moses and Elijah 4And appeared to them Elijah with Moses, 30 And behold, two men
talking with him. and they were talking with Jesus. talked with him, who were Moses and Elijah, 31who appearing in glory spoke of his ‘exodus’ which he was about to fulfill in Jerusalem. 32But Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep. But waking they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. 33When they parted from him,

if you wish I will make three tents, for you one, for Moses one, and for Elijah one.” let us make three tents, for you one, for Moses one, and for Elijah one.” let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah,”
6Because he did not know what to reply for they were greatly afraid. —not knowing what he said.
5As he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. 7A cloud came overshadowing them. 34As he said this, a cloud came and overshadowed them. And they were afraid when they entered the cloud.
And behold, a voice from the cloud saying, “This is my Son, the Beloved, and a voice came from the cloud “This is my Son, the Beloved, 35and a voice came from the cloud saying, “This is my Son, the Chosen.
with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.” listen to him.” listen to him.”
6Hearing, the disciples fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. 7But Jesus came, and having touched them, said, “Rise and have no fear.”
8And lifting up their eyes they saw no one, 8And suddenly looking around they no longer saw anyone,
but Jesus alone. but Jesus alone with them. 36When the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone.
