Visiting Ggantija is surprisingly easy. Frequent air service connects Malta with London (a three-hour trip) and regular flights are also scheduled from most major European gateways. Gozo is an hour’s car ride from the airport, followed by a 20-minute ferry trip. Helicopter transportation is also available. Hired guides or rental cars (driving is on the left) can be booked in either Malta or Gozo, and road signs point the way to the Ggantija temples. Although museum hours vary by season, the temples are open most days and charge a nominal fee. Travel arrangements are easily made since English is a Maltese national language.
