Getting There: Malta’s national airline, Air Malta, operates regularly scheduled flights to Valletta out of a number of European airports. Once in Malta, the Hypogeum, a UNESCO world heritage site, is easily reached by buses departing from the main terminal in Valletta. (Avoid taking taxis, which are exorbitantly expensive.)
