Hanan Eshel

Hanan Eshel (d. 2010), professor at Bar-Ilan University’s Institute of Archaeology, was a seasoned Dead Sea Scroll archaeologist and scholar. He was also an expert in the period of the Second Jewish Revolt against Rome, the Bar Kokhba Revolt.
