Herbert W. Basser

Herbert W. Basser is a Professor of Theological Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, prior to this he taught at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the University of Toronto and the University of California at Berkley. The author of 10 books, Basser is known for his promotion of the use of rabbinic texts in the interpretations of early Christian texts.
