J. Daniel Hays is a Professor of Biblical Studies and the Dean of the Pruet School of Christian Studies at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark. He has written a book on biblical interpretation, Grasping God’s Word (Zondervan, 2001; third edition, 2012).
