Jacob Milgrom

Jacob Milgrom (d. 2010) was a Professor Emeritus and former Chair of Near Eastern Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Milgrom was best known for his comprehensive Torah commentaries and his work on the Dead Sea Scrolls. He is author of more than 200 scholarly articles and books including a three volume commentary on the Book of Leviticus (Yale University Press).
