Jacob Neusner

Jacob Neusner (d.2016) is the Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of the History and Theology of Judaism and a Senior Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Theology at Bard College. He has written or edited more than 300 books, including Theology of the Oral Torah (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 1999)) and Theology of the Halakhah (Brill, 2001). Neusner won the Fellner Award for the best Bible Review article of 1987.
