Jerome Murphy-O’Connor

Jerome Murphy-O’Connor (d. 2013) was a Dominican Priest and Professor of New Testament at the École Biblique et Archéologique in Jerusalem. Murphy-O’Connor was an authority on the Apostle Paul and received honorary degrees from Institutions in the US and abroad including a Doctorate of Literature from the National University of Ireland in University College Cork. He is the author of many books including the widely praised The Holy Land: An Oxford Archaeological Guide from Earliest Times to 1700 (Oxford, 1998).
