Meir Ben-Dov

Meir Ben-Dov served for many years as deputy to Professor Benjamin Mazar in the excavation at the Temple Mount. He is the author of a number of books including In The Shadow of the Temple: The Discovery of Ancient Jerusalem (Harper Collins, 1985) and Historical Atlas of Jerusalem (Bloomsbury, 2002).
