Michael B. Poliakoff
Michael B. Poliakoff, drawing not only on his academic credentials – he has a Ph.D in Classical studies from the University of Michigan – but also his experience as a college wrestler, wrote Combat Sports in the Ancient World: Competition, Violence, and Culture (Yale University Press, 1995). He currently is the Vice President of Policy at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni where he oversees programming and publications and works with constituents on behalf of higher education reform.
