Miranda Marvin

Miranda Marvin (d. 2012) was Professor Emerita of Art and Classical Studies as well as the Director of the Inter-departmental Program in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology at Wellesley College. She excavated in Greece, Israel and Cyprus, and authored The Language of the Muses: The Dialogue between Greek and Roman Sculpture (Getty Publications, 2008).
