Mitchell Dahood

Mitchell Dahood (d. 1982) taught at Rome’s Pontifical Bible Institute for nearly twenty years.  He is best known for his three-volume commentary on the Psalms for the Anchor Bible.  A specialist on Hebrew and Ugaritic, he turned toward the end of his life to the study of Eblaite.
