Nahum M. Sarna

Nahum M. Sarna (d. 2005) was the Dora Golding Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies at Brandeis University, where he was also Chair of the Near Eastern and Judaic Studies Department. Sarna was the Glimbelstob Eminent Scholar and Professor of Judaica at Florida Atlantic University. He was the General Editor of the Jewish Publication Society’s Commentary on the Torah and author of its volumes on Genesis (1989) and Exodus (1991).
