Peter M. Fischer

Peter M. Fischer is a Professor of Ancient Culture and Civilization in the Historical Studies Department at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is Director of the Swedish Jordan Expedition, of the Swedish Palestine Expedition at Tell el-Ajjul and of the New Swedish Cyprus Expedition at Hala Sultan Tekke. Fischer is also a member on the Steering Committee of the European Science Foundation in Strasbourg.
