Pieter W. van der Horst

Pieter W. van der Horst studied Classical philology and theology at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands, where he is now a Professor Emeritus of New Testament Exegesis, Early Christian Literature, and the Jewish and Hellenistic World of Early Christianity. He is author of more than 80 articles and 10 books on the world of the New Testament, including Ancient Jewish Epitaphs (Kok-Pharos, 1991).
