Uzi Avner

Uzi Avner teaches desert archaeology and environment in the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and is a researcher at the Dead Sea-Arava Science Center.  Prior to his PhD, he worked for more than 20 years for the Israel Antiquities Authority documenting nearly 1,500 archaeological sites in the Negev and Sinai deserts.
