Gabriel Barkay (“Mounds of Mystery”) is a senior lecturer in the Department of Archaeology and Land of Israel Studies at Bar-Ilan University. He has participated in numerous digs during a career spanning nearly four decades. In 1996 Barkay was honored with the Jerusalem Prize, in recognition of outstanding achievements in the archaeology of Jerusalem. Sandy Brenner (“Spending Your Way through Jewish History”) is a director of the Stella and Charles Guttman Foundation, which supports educational and social service projects. He has degrees from Carleton College and the College of William and Mary. Brenner has published articles on Judean numismatics in Near Eastern Archaeology, The Celator and other periodicals.
