Estee Dvorjetski (“Healing Waters”) is a senior lecturer in archaeology and humanities at Haifa University and the Technion, Israel. Her forthcoming book is on leisure and medicine at the thermal baths of the Roman and Byzantine eastern Mediterranean.

André Lemaire (“Another Temple to the Israelite God”) is chairman of the Hebrew and Aramaic philology and epigraphy department at the Sorbonne. His article, “Burial Box of James, the Brother of Jesus,” appeared in our November/December 2002 issue.
