President of the Ancient Biblical Manuscript Center, James A. Sanders (“Keep Each Tradition Separate”) served as publication editor of The Leningrad Codex: The Facsimile Edition (Eerdmans, 1998), which received a special citation in the 1999 BAS Publication Awards.
Leonard Greenspoon (“Philistines in the Newsroom”) holds the Klutznick Chair in Jewish Civilization at Creighton University, in Nebraska. He recently edited Yiddish Language and Culture (Creighton Univ. Press, 1998). His surveys of biblical references in the funny pages appeared in the October 1991 and December 1993 issues of BR.
