Archaeologists excavating near Ramat Rahel in southern Jerusalem have uncovered an ancient rock-cut tunnel that has so far resisted explanation. Running about 165 feet in length, reaching up to 16 feet in height, and measuring roughly 10 feet wide, the tunnel is the result of considerable labor and planning.
