Adrienne Mayor

Adrienne Mayor is a Research Scholar in the Classics and History and Philosophy of Science Department at Stanford University and an independent folklorist/historian of science. She is the author of Greek Fire, Poison Arrows & Scorpion Bombs: Biological and Chemical Warfare in the Ancient World (Woodstock, 2003) and The Amazons: Lives and Legends of Warrior Women across the Ancient World (Princeton University Press, 2014).
