Edward Lipinski

Edward Lipinski is a Professor Emeritus at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium where he has taught Semitic languages and epigraphy, as well as the history, cultures and religions of the ancient Near East and the Biblical world for more than 40 years. He has authored and edited scores of books and articles in various fields, including Aramaic and Phoenician epigraphy.
