Rudolph Cohen

Rudolf Cohen (d. 2007) was deputy director of the Israel Antiquities Authority until his retirement in 2005, and co-director of the ‘En Hatzeva excavations. For three decades, Cohen focused his archaeological activity on the Negev, where he excavated Roman and Nabatean sites, along with dozens of desert fortresses—some thought to be from the time of Solomon.
