Ze’ev Herzog
Ze’ev Herzog immigrated to Israel from Buchara, Russia, at the age of seven. Now a Professor of Archaeology at Tel Aviv University, he has excavated at Beer-Sheba, Megiddo, Hazor, Tel Michal and Tel Gerisa, as well as Arad. Since 2005, he has directed The Sonia and Marco Nadler Institute of Archaeology and serves as the archaeological advisor to the Israel Nature and National Parks Protection Authority in the preservation and development of the National Parks at Arad and Beer Sheba.
