Gideon Avni

Gideon Avni is the Head of the Archaeological Division of the Israel Antiquities Authority and lectures at Hebrew University, Jerusalem.  From 1989-2000 he was chief archaeologist of the Jerusalem district for the Israel Antiquities Authority.
