Israel Finkelstein

Israel Finkelstein is a Professor of Archaeology at Tel Aviv University and the Director of the Megiddo expedition.  He has dug at Tell Aphek, in southern Sinai, Izbet Sartah and Shiloh. He is the author of several books, including The Archaeology of the Israelite Settlement (Israel Exploration Society, 1988) and The Forgotten Kingdom (Society of Biblical Literature, 2013).
